In 2018, Isolde and Jones met on her first Uganda trip while gorilla tracking. Stayed in contact and found out that they share a lot of passion to wildlife and nature. They started arranging photo group trips to Uganda and together with Fransisca from Nature Responsible Safari Tanzania as well to the Tanzanian Wildlife.
Their shared vision ultimately led to the creation of their own travel company.
Beginning 2022 they established
Nature Responsible Safari Uganda as a sister company to Nature Responsible Safari Tanzania
This new venture was born after 12 years of successful operations in Tanzania, combining their collective expertise to offer unforgettable, eco-conscious safari experiences now in Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania and Kenya.

Meet Isolde
Isolde has a background in Computer Sciences, Sales and Marketing. She worked for a long time for German aviation company Lufthansa and other well known international companies. She is a passionate nature photographer and traveler since very young age. Her love for exploring the world has taken her to remarkable destinations all over the world. She traveled self organized or organized individual or group trips to about 60 different countries, fueling her passion for wildlife and photography until she finally fell in love with Uganda, its amazing nature and its wonderful people. Her passion is to support Uganda and the Ugandans.
Meet Jones
Jones, on the other hand, studied Tourism Business and is a highly experienced ranger with specialized knowledge in birding, wildlife, and gorilla conservation.
With 13 years of dedicated work in the Gorilla Program at Bwindi and Mgahinga National Parks in Uganda, he has developed a deep connection to the region's wildlife and ecosystems.
His intense knowledge about Uganda and Rwanda as well as his various connections and network in these countries are the backbones of the companies success.
As he is the director operations here all threads come together.
The About Us FILM
Isolde and Jones inspiring Uganda trips caught the attention of a German TV film crew, who found their story compelling enough to produce a documentary about their lives, the company and their style of exploring Uganda with and for cloents. Although the film is in German, its stunning visuals speak volumes, showcasing Uganda as a must-visit travel destination and providing an intimate look at gorilla tracking and other attractions in the region.

Meet Fransisca
Fransisca is a passionate leader in tourism and community development, committed to social and environmental responsibility. She has participated in the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders (YALI), met former US President Barack Obama and was named one of the Top 100 Travel & Tourism Personalities in Africa in 2022.
Since 2021, she is as a Board Member of Tanzania Association of Tour Operators. In 2012, she founded Nature Responsible Safari, promoting eco-friendly safaris that support conservation and local communities. With a Bachelor's in Community Development from Kimmage University, she strives to create meaningful change in the world.
